Antarktika

Antarctica has no official flag as it is governed by the Antarctic Treaty System rather than any single nation. However, the most widely recognized unofficial flag, designed by Graham Bartram in 2002, shows a plain white map of the continent centered on a pale blue background. The blue represents neutrality and peace, while the white symbolizes the ice and snow covering the continent. The Antarctic Treaty, signed in 1959 by 12 nations, designated Antarctica as a scientific preserve and banned military activity. Various other designs have been proposed, including Whitney Smith's 1978 design featuring an emblem representing international cooperation.
